A sequence to the video "Where Rachel Dwells," a new video project called "Let it Burn" is being featured in the Jewish Art Salon's "Jerusalem Between Heaven and Earth" curated by Ori Z. Soltes for the Jerusalem Biennale of Contemporary Jewish Art 2017 (see invite). The video features a journey, as my mother and I set out to burn papers that hold sentimantal value. The piece addresses the multigenerational experience of personal and national events, marking the long and slow process of human development, change, and connection. The following slideshow features some stills from the 10m' video. A selection of the stills will be prepared for print on archival paper. video/photo credit: Reuvi Komer
